Using the seeds from the Sprout Pencil you are guaranteed a high quality seeds with high success rate with make the plant sprout. They will germinate after app. 3 weeks. If you plant inside, the plants can be planted outdoors in late spring. You can expect to get berries after 4 months. Strawberries are perennials – this means that they will continue to grow after the winter season.

A good tip

A good tip when growing strawberries is to use a fertilizer low in nitrogen and fertilize in the autumn. This will give you the most berries. If you fertilize in spring and/or use high nitrogen levels, this will result in lot of leaves and not so many berries. And water the plant from below like illustrated in the video.
